How much does an appointment cost?
Initial Evaluation (60 minutes)- $425-435
Transfer Management to Dr. Sachdev (45 minutes)- $375-385
One Month Follow-up Encounter (20 minutes)- $90-100
Three Month Follow-up Encounter (30 minutes)- $190-200
Six Month Follow-up Encounter (30 minutes)- $240-250

Dr. Lisa Sachdev
Family Physician
Dr. Sachdev evaluates and manages both adults and children with Attention Deficit Disorder. She has a special interest in this area because her own family is affected by ADHD. She does not believe that ADD/ADHD is a disorder, or deficiency, but simply a different way of processing information. She is interested in helping her patients better understand their unique gifts, as well as their challenges.
Dr. Sachdev has managed hundreds of adults and children with ADD/ADHD. Patients are not required to submit to expensive neuropsychiatric, imaging or performance testing in order to make a diagnosis. Dr. Sachdev spends a great deal of time during the initial patient interview to assess each patient as an individual.
Dr. Sachdev has ADHD so she understands the challenges it poses for parents and professionals. She feels it takes more than just medication for individuals to perform at their full potential. She believes a "one size fits all" approach is not the best solution for patients. Each patient is unique in their needs and challenges; thus treatment programs are truly individualized. She understands the importance of listening to her patients and taking the time to get to know them well.
All four of Dr. Sachdev's children have been blessed with ADHD. She appreciates parent's concerns when formulating a treatment plan for their children. She offers practical advise and works with parents, rather than dictating a course of action. She appreciates that parents know their children better than anyone else and respects their right to choose what is best for their children and family. In addition to providing medication to patients when appropriate, she offers life coaching to students and parents.
Patients who are doing well are required to have a follow up visit every six months. More frequent visits may be required if medications are being adjusted or specific problems require more intensive evaluation. Height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, vision and hearing are monitored during check-ups. More intensive evaluation such as lab work, cardiac monitoring, allergy testing, nutritional analysis and screening for Irlen Syndrome are also available to patients when warranted.
